IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THE BEST TASTE EXPERIENCE, YOU WANT TO ROAST YOUR OWN GREEN BEANS.
IT'S NOT DIFFICULT AND IT DOESN'T HAVE TO COST A LOT OF MONEY. YOU CAN ROAST ENOUGH COFFEE TO MAKE 8 -10 CUPS IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES.
IF YOU HAVE AN OLD AIR POPCORN MAKER LAYING AROUND THE HOUSE CATCHING DUST, BRUSH IT OFF & PUT IT TO WORK. IF NOT YOU CAN FIND THEM FOR AROUND $20 - 30 BUCKS.
DROP 4 -5 OZ. OF GREEN BEANS IN THE HOPPER, TURN ON THE MACHINE & KEEP AN EYE ON THE CLOCK, YOU SHOULD HEAR A CLICKING SOUND AFTER 3 OR 4 MINUTES. TAKE A LOOK AT THE BEANS WHEN YOU HEAR A SECOND CLICKING THE BEANS SHOULD BE READY. UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VIENNA ( dARK ROAST) THE BEANS ARE READY WHEN THE COLOR IS LIKE THIS.
DON'T LEAVE THEM IN THE HOPPER BUT TRANSFER TO A MESH STRAINER & LET THEM SIT TO COOL OFF. wAIT AT LEAST 15 MINUTES FOR THE COOL DOWN PROCESS. aT THIS POINT YOU CAN GRIND THEM & ENJOY.

IF YOU WANT TO ADD A BIT MORE FLAVOR TO OUR DELICIOUS BEANS, HERE ARE TWO GREAT WAYS. THIS IS THE NATURAL WAY TO ADD FLAVOR WITHOUT USING A " POLY " CRAP CHEMICAL.
HAZELNUT FLAVOR EASY PESSEY , ADD WHOLE ROASTED HAZELNUTS TO YOUR GRINDER START WITH A RATIO OF 75% OF OUR FRESH ROASTED BEANS TO 25% HAZELNUTS. GRIND TO MEDIUM. ALWAYS USE A FRENCH PRESS. POUR HOT WATER TO 1/3 STIR VIGOROUSLY WAIT 30 SECONDS AND FILL BEAKER, THEN LET STAND FOR 3-4 MINUTES. PRESS THE PLUNGER & ENJOY.
FRENCH VANILLA THE OLE FASHIONED WAY
START WITH OUR FRESH GREEN BEANS. ADD A COUPLE OF FRESH VANILLA BEANS TO THE YOUR ROASTING MACHINE WHEN YOU ADD OUR BEANS. ROAST TO MEDIUM, & THEN GRIND TO MEDIUM. I ALWAYS USE MY FRENCH PRESS - FOR MY FRENCH VANILLA ROAST "n'est-ce pas?"
